Saved by mercenaries employed by the loyalists, you fled to the no-man's land of the Rimward Periphery Frontier, where for those three years you worked with and eventually took charge of a down-on-its-luck mercenary company barely making ends meet.

Until one day inyou get hired by the not-so-dead Kamea Arano to help her reclaim the throne from her uncle. Apart from the turn-based tactical combat involving the series' iconic BattleMechsplayers will also have to manage their company's finances and operations in between missions to survive.

Hello what interesting you get from flashpoint missions?

flashpoint siegebreaker

I played about 12 flashpoint missions. A collect 4 parts of lostech Highlander. So I get another Highlander and building 3rd. Then from one mission you hunt one of brother-sister siblings. From another mission I get LosTech modified Griffin - 55 tons.

Very nice mech, usable in max tonnage restricted missions. From Another mission I fight in Gladiator fight 50 tons vs 50 tons and I get modified Crab - 50 tons. But this mech looks really bad, he can take 4 tons less than another 50 tons mechs. Maybe he have some modifications - like more close combat damage???

Must equip hom and take him in mission to see his close combat params. It is modified vesion who weight 2 tons less. And that is all. Do you get any other interesting lostech equipment? About tonnage limited missions - there are missions where you need all mecha max 50 tons.

So collect and prepare 4x 50 tons good equipped mechs. Another mission was limited to tons. And that is all I see about limited missions. Showing 1 - 15 of 22 comments. About that triangulate 8 turn mission extra hard when you are Ally with somebody - I do it on 5th try. Very annoying mission. This mech is really fast. Have a lot of armor. On 3rd farest zone send Banshee.Harebrained Schemes launches the first expansion for its turn-based strategy game about big, stomping mechs today.

BattleTech — Flashpoint adds a new style of mission, in which you must play across a string of matches without the opportunity to repair your mechs. And, most importantly of all, there are three new mechs. However, each of the three new mechs brings something special to the battlefield. A big axe, a big brain, and a big… well, the Crab is just really lovely, ok?

This means Hatchetman mechs are able to dish out a whopping melee damage in combat, which puts it in the same league as the significantly heavier, slower assault class mechs. I often lean into this and sprint my Hatchetman mechs into combat, sacrificing the opportunity to fire in favour of getting into melee range faster.

Sprinting towards the enemy has the added bonus of buffing your evasion significantly, making it much harder for the enemy to hit you on their turn. While it can dish out melee damage equal to mechs two classes higher in the food chain, it has the armour of a medium mech. And that right arm is particularly vulnerable. Where it could come into its own is the teased Urban Warfare expansion — due in summer — the tight streets and sightline-blocking buildings could let you get up close to an enemy mech without being vulnerable to attacks from its lancemates.

The Cyclops, by itself, is a tad dull. What makes the Cyclops special is a new item that Harebrained has added with it: the Battle Computer. Light mechs go first, then medium, heavy, and assault mechs go last. Attacking first offers a huge advantage: you could knock down your opponent, damage a vital weapon system, or even destroy the enemy before they can get a shot in. Pilots can learn abilities that buff initiative, allowing them to push a heavier mech to go earlier in the turn order, but opting for that ability locks them out of picking other, equally powerful skills.

So an item that pushes every mech in your lance up a rung in the turn order is a hugely powerful ability. The King Crab was one of the toughest mechs in BattleTech when it launched.

Flashpoint brings its smaller sibling into play. Simply called the Crab, this medium mech is built for fire support. Giveaway: five Steam codes for F1 up for grabs! Who are the biggest female streamers?Directive 7 is a level 48 flashpoint open to both factions. His plan is to do the same to all the droids in the galaxy to purge sentient life. This section needs confirmation for there being no potential alignment points in this flashpoint. The first boss encounter in Directive 7 is the group of Mentor Assassin Droids.

The fight will begin with the three Assassin Droids standing in front of you. Initially your tank will have to grab agro on all three and have them face away from the party.

After this, the droids will begin shielding. One will have no shield, one will have an orange shield which reflects damage and one has a blue shield which absorbs all damage. Because of this mechanic your party will have to be aware of which Assassin Droid to attack, AoE will also be a bad idea, as whoever is casting it will be taking massive damage.

This fight is a standard tank-and-spank with one small caveat. The Interrogator will randomly choose a party member to clone.

What does the length of a vector arrow represent

Your party will have to focus fire the clone and then switch back to DPSing the boss. Ultratech War Leader's Armguards. Bulwark is the second hardest encounter in the Directive 7 flashpoint.

The first and most important thing your party will have to do is split with two members on each side of Bulwark, positioning beside the two diamond-shaped panels on the wall. Doing this will prevent your party from taking massive damage from Bulwark's channeled blaster ability.

Additionally, your healer will have to keep your tank shielded as often as possible and topped off with heals due to Bulwark's Bulwark Smash.

Pole foundation design example

This ability is channeled and disables your tank for the duration. It does massive damage and cannot be interrupted. Periodically, Bulwark will shield himself in a green shield that does AoE damage while protecting him. When this happens, turn around and destroy the two panels against the wall. Ultratech Enforcer's Boots. This mini-boss is simple. It's a standard tank and spank with two turrets that spawn.

Assembler will frequently enter Repair Mode healing itself or the turrets.

Slope matching activity

The only special thing about the turrets is that they will attempt to super charge. This ability will increase their damage output significantly, but can be interrupted, so make sure to do so. Like the Assassin Droids, this boss encounter will drop a random green item, unless the flashpoint is set to hard mode in which case it will drop a Tionese Crystal. This boss is very simple if you follow a specific attack order and strategy. The Red Reaper is a late-game flashpoint for players level 45 and higher.

It is located in the main mission departure area of your respective faction. Darth Ikoral has established a stronghold after 70 years in exile comprised of pure-blood Sith. He has come to believe that anyone that is not pure-blood is not worthy and is moving against the Empire and Republic. You are tasked with taking the fight to him and neutralizing the threat before Ikoral can wreak havoc in the galaxy.

There is the potential for Dark Side Points or Light Side Points in this flashpoint depending on whether or not you destroy the pure-blood Sith that Ikoral has in cryogenic stasis. This fight is a standard tank-and-spank fight. Kherus does not do much damage, although he does randomly jump between targets at times before jumping back to the tank.

He also has a few special abilities your team needs to be aware of. Periodicallyhe will jump to the hostages in the center and force choke one, performing an ability called Soul Siphon. This needs to be interrupted by a knockback such as an Inquisitor's Overload.

Once interrupted, or once he finishes channeling, Kherus will jump to either side of the hall in which you are fighting. He will begin to launch crates and random debris at targets in your party.

These can hit for a substantial amount of damage. If your healer can heal through it comfortably then proceed to charge Kherus and DPS him while he is doing this. If, on the other hand, you have a lower-level healer who is having trouble, your whole party should retreat to the initial hall from which the fight begins and use line of sight LoS to keep Kherus from throwing objects.

After a time he will re-engage your party of his own accord. Greaves of Coercion. Boots of the Force Savant.

Chestplate of Unstoppable War. This fight is simple as long as you are aware of the boss and your surroundings. Upon finding the boss you will notice that he is flanked on either side by 3 pylons 6 total. One side is all red and the other all blue, these pylons will be key during the fight. The Concussion Blast is your standard knockback with a slow effect, your tank can avoid being affected by this by tanking at either of the center pylons with his back to the column behind him.

He will get knocked back only a few feet and be able to continue. If you watch its blasters during the fight or cast bar you will see that it is charging either red or blue. Whichever color it is charging your team MUST change the pylons to the other color. This is imperative because a fully charged i. As long as your team is on top of this, the fight is actually quite simple.
